Overall, the Marqués de Riscal Finca Montico 2023 is a sophisticated and elegant organic Verdejo from the Rueda D.O. It doesn’t aim for an overpowering aromatic explosion but instead offers a nuanced and complex expression of the grape, enhanced by its aging on fine lees. This results in a wine that is both fresh and deeply satisfying, with the potential to maintain its aromatic complexity and youthfulness for 24-30 months after harvest.
