Tasting Note:
This wine is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes from the vineyards of Castello di Montepo. It has been aged for 14 months in French oak barrels (Tronçais oak). It has 14% alcohol content. It has a dark ruby color with hints of brick. It has aromas of black fruits, spices, tobacco, and leather on the nose and palate. It is full-bodied, rich, velvety, and has a very long finish.
